Dawn Bradbury of Powatan, Virginia has always dreamed of being a fashion designer ever since she was a little girl. After an emergency hysterectomy her doctor told her to wear comfortable loose-fitting clothing. She put her artistic flare into creating beautiful mulberry silk kaftans. She started wearing them on her travels and the response was incredible. She was picked up by the Ritz Carlton Sarasota, Monkees Boutique of Lakewood Ranch, and various boutiques around the nation and Aruba. Her clothing line was also featured in Virginia Weddings Magazine with a 6-page layout of her creations and featured in several Greater Virginia Bridal Shows fashion shows.
Dawn Bradbury Designs has quickly risen to be a major fashion icon in high fashion circles.
Her first market debut was in Atlanta and was discovered by Clarice Holden who is a chairman for the Palm Beach Fashion week. Clairce invited her to have her line debut for the fashion show at the prestigious Mar A Lago for Palm Beach Fashion Week. After hearing the cost associated with the event, Dawn doubted that her first year in business would be able to finance the trip. After relaying on God as her CEO, financial means became available one kaftan at a time. On March 19th, to the one-year anniversary of her surgery, she debuted her designs at the fashion show for Palm Beach Fashion Week. Days following the event, she had successful trunk shows at Designer Row, located on the iconic Worth Ave. Her clothing line is currently at this boutique.

Two weeks following Palm Beach Fashion Week, she was invited back for 3 more trunk shows, again sales started to soar. She is returning back to Palm beach the first week of May for another event at Mar A Lago and the Palm Beach Golf Club in Wellington.

Her debut got the attention on Monaco Fashion Days, and she was personally invited to go international, and she will be showcasing her line on May 21st in Monte Carlo during the Cannes Film Festival. Her dream is to have boutiques showcase her line in the Monte Carlo area and along the French Riveria. Her sights are also set on Santorini and Mykonos, Greece. While in Europe, she will spend a week in Greece to hopefully acquire some boutiques there.

Her drive of making her lifelong dream come true is reflected in her motto, “It’s never too late to be what you might have been.”
